Andrology and Genital Reconstructive Surgery

This program is developed in the reference clinical and surgical environment, and aims to provide an immersive, practical and updated experience in the comprehensive approach to male sexual and reproductive health, as well as in the most advanced techniques of urogenital reconstructive surgery.

Through this rotation, participants will have the opportunity to integrate into a multidisciplinary team, attend complex surgical procedures, participate in clinical sessions and receive direct training from specialists with extensive national and international experience. Our mission is to contribute to the educational excellence of future leaders in andrology and reconstructive surgery, promoting learning based on real clinical practice and continuous innovation.

Duration

Up to 3 months, adapting to the participant's availability and training objectives, in order to guarantee a personalized experience of high academic value.

Program Content

  • The program is structured to provide an intensive, observational clinical experience, with the following focus:

    • Outpatient: Observation of diagnostic evaluation, follow-up and treatment of patients with andrological and reconstructive pathologies.

    • Surgical activity: Assistance to interventions in the operating room, including prosthesis surgery, Peyronie's, penile and urethral curvatures and genital reconstruction.

    • Clinical and training sessions: Participation in case sessions, literature reviews and clinical discussions with the medical team.

    • Multidisciplinary rotation: Possibility of complementing the training with short stays in other areas such as Uro-Oncology, BPH or Robotic Surgery, according to availability.

Methodology

The program is based on practical and immersive training, focused on direct observation of real clinical cases. Participants accompany our specialists in their daily activities, both in the office and in the operating room, integrating themselves into the team's daily flow of care.

This case observation methodology allows the participant:

  • To observe first-hand the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to andrological and reconstructive pathologies.

  • Assist in complex and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

  • Participate in clinical sessions, case discussions and real time decision making.

  • To understand multidisciplinary work and the doctor-patient relationship in a highly specialized environment.

The approach is designed to offer a realistic, personalized and clinically valuable training experience , tailored to the level and objectives of the rotating professional.

Requirements

  1. Maximum duration: 3 months.

  2. Places are limited according to availability in each specialty.

  3. Application at least 4 months in advance.

  4. Active involvement with a health institution during the rotation.
