We return to a healthcare reality that continues to demand international cooperation. In Honduras, access to specialized urology remains very limited, and many people live with serious illnesses without the possibility of receiving adequate treatment. Geographic distance has not prevented medical teams from Spain and Hospital María from working in coordination to respond to this growing need and offer care to patients with complex pathologies that require surgery and specialized follow-up.
We perform highly complex surgical procedures:
The brigade also incorporated a strong educational component. A workshop on medical history and the fundamentals of urology was developed for sixth-year medical students at the Catholic University of Honduras, helping to reinforce the academic and practical training of the country's future healthcare professionals.
Your collaboration is key for the Fundación ROC to continue promoting projects that improve the lives of thousands of people.
With your support, we can facilitate access to health in vulnerable communities, as well as education and research in the field of urology. Together we can make a difference.
